Charity Amis is a writer who loves stories and more specifically, she loves characters. Whatever media or genre she takes on, she is obsessed with figuring out how each person ticks and understanding how they intimately occupy their own world.

 

Charity graduated from Full Sail University with a BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment. Her goal has always been focused on writing stories with exceptionally complex characters. One could call her a mystery writer since her passion lies in discovering the mysteries of human nature.  She is more often thought of as an urban fantasy writer because her fondness for the magical and the supernatural always seeps into the stories she crafts.

 

Charity is currently working on a massive writing project titled The Blood War. The fantasy novel series follows the intricacies of a paranormal war and how it affects the many different characters who must find a way to survive. Along with the novels, Charity intends to write short stories set in the same world.

 

When she is not writing, Charity spends most of her time following and studying other writer's characters through anime, Korean dramas, TV shows, and books. She will tell you, the more characters she comes in contact with, the more deeply curious she becomes involved in her own.
